UTA women’s basketball team is all set to kick-start its 2020-21 season with an exhilarating line-up of games. From November 28, 2020, to March 6, 2021, the team will be seen showcasing their strength and skills on the court. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness the excitement and energy that this season promises.

The team’s home game schedules are out, and the excitement is palpable. Besides playing in front of a home crowd, the women’s basketball team will embrace some of the top-tier teams across the country. The games include challenges from schools such as the North Texas Mean Green, Texas State Bobcats, and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The team will start the season with two back-to-back games against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls, followed by two more games against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions. The schedule also boasts some of the most anticipated games against the University of South Alabama Jaguars and the Troy Trojans. He stated that the team and the Athletics Department are thrilled to be able to provide an enjoyable experience for all the fans and supporters of the UTA athletics program. The department is putting in all efforts to ensure the safety of the players, coaches, and fans in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The games will be held at the College Park Center, consistently rated among the top-10 collegiate venues in the country. With a seating capacity of up to 7,000, students, alumni, and fans are expected to turn up in large numbers to show their support for the talented team. Furthermore, the UTA women’s basketball team is looking to continue its winning record on home turf, following last season’s 14-3 record.
